Started tryin to teach myself at age 14 when my mom-mom gave me a guitar for christmas. A few buddies showed me a few chords, I've had a handful of lessons at music stores, but really its all pretty much just me. I'm not the hard core Glen Hansard playin on the streets style singer/songwriter. I have a family to support so I work nights at the local hospital, which really hinders my open mic playing and such. I play whenever I can, write songs when they come to me. I don't sit down and say, "I'm going to write a song about this girl," or anything like that. I just start playin, and the music inspires the lyrics. Its the feel of the song I have to find before I can put the words, verses, and such together. My music is true...its my experience, sometimes of my life, sometimes of a life I see, sometimes my experience of what the music holds in it. I think that my songs are emotionally driven, and may have the ability to relate to a lot of people. I'm not on here tryin to make it big. I don't want a recording contract with big tours and all the works. I just want to share myself with all of you the only way I know how to express myself, with my music.
