Singer/songwriter,Randall Johns learned the craft of songwriting from some of the best, at Fame Recording Studios/Rick Hall Music, located in the Hit Recording Capital of the World, Muscle Shoals, Al. After enjoying some modest success in the 80's with cuts by r@b diva Candi Staton on Warner Bros Records and a handful of indie artists, Randall dropped out of the music/songwriting scene for over ten years. Now he's back with a broader life experience to draw from, and a new found optimism and determination. This year Randall placed in the top 5 of the June round of the SONG OF THE YEAR international songwriting contest with his song' "Mississippi Moon," and in the top five again in the October round with "The Blues Are Comin' Home."
