Earthfest 2008 – May by The Help

Does anybody from Radio 92.9 even know this blog exists? They don’t seem to care much about the feedback from their listeners. The City Steps band Thriving Ivory got their break when a West Coast radio station played their indie music on air. Isn’t it ironic that you guys sponsor OurStage and don’t play any of the local Boston talent on YOUR Boston station? Get some stones, dude. Play The Help.
I agree with shishu – 92.9 music is getting very tired. It’s time for something fresh and new. Here’s an idea: something like “Next up is the Radio 92.9 City Steps winner The Help, with their winning song, May”. Is that like too much blah blah blah?
Hey Ourstage – It’s great what you guys are doing to discover local talent right here in Boston. How about pushing the envelope even further with 92.9 and getting the best local acts some airtime? Their current playlist is getting freakin old with Dave Matthews and Blues Traveler. I’d love to hear The Help on my way to work in the morning. These guys have had two back to back wins on a Radio 92.9 contest – that deserves some serious airtime dude.
