Qu’sean Chamberlain, a.k.a. Publik, Was born in Bronx, New York, June 28th, 1980. He was raised in Marble Hill Projects as the son of an artistic mother with vocal skills. PubliK learned clean-cut street knowledge from the hood and life cycles. At the age of 14 he realized he needed a breath of fresh air. He then moved to Kansas City in search of a better environment for his self. Publik got to Kansas City and was in a good position. He had a taste of the suburban life. In the mid 90’s in a school called Park Hill High School, Publik found him self out of place within the suburbs were racism was at a high. The school made the news for racism numerous times during his years attending the school. Publik then started to go to the hoods in the inner cities of Kansas City. Kansas City was 4th in homicide within the United States of America when he was venturing into the neighborhoods with two solid friends. Publik later graduated from high school and moved back to NYC. At the age of 19 he was back in Marble Hill Projects analyzing life again. Nothing had changed, he observed his people while they pumped drugs and killed each other all over the NYC area. Publik tried to stay away from typical project life. He then started to look for positive things to do and DJ’ing became his outlet. After meeting a few entertainment groups trying to come up, he started to DJ at clubs. He spun at clubs like Speed, Palladium, American Park Café, Planet 28, and the list goes on. Publik’s DJ name was Sub-Zero and his cuts are serious on the turntables. He then grew out of the DJ life and started producing beats. PubliK worked with a few studios in Brooklyn around the Marcy projects, but as time went on he began to lose love for the studio life. Lyrics that the majority was putting out was negative and garbage. He knew their had to be more to rap and Hip-Hop then just shot your self music. Publik began a new journey into the work force and started working for an Internet company called Communityconnect.com. They are the soul owners of Blackplanet.com and Migente.com. Publik learned the business of advertisement and marketing in 6 years of employment with Communityconnect.com as a Software Qa Specialist. He then saw how major cooperation’s used the minority market to pollute and gain money with no real give backs. He realized “life is a game” and “we are being played to the max”. He saw the Mic as the key to waking people up and began to use that key to open people’s eyes to the lies he was fed in his life. Publik is now stepping up to the Mic with a vengeance against the society we live in and the music that we listen to. All the rap music of today is brain wash music in Publik’s eyes, which is a true fact. Someone wants to keep us stupid. Someone has to speak the truth. Publik started his own business dealing with promotions. He gained tons of promotion power through email account collection. His business is based on Internet marketing and self-awareness. The companies currently created by Publik are OLG Urban Promotions, OneLifeGame Records and the free mixtapes to start spreading the word are called Tha Konglamourit. Tha Konglamourit is a rap group put together by onelifegame and iking productions. listen carefully when Publik grips the Mic and other MC’s beware. You don’t want to miss a word.
