P.O.V. was formed by Drummer Nick Logiodice and Guitarist/lead singer Anthony Burns and former bass player Brian Power who were childhood friends. We’ve been playing music together for ten years but Formed officially in 2005. Released our 1st Full Length Album in July 2008 called ‘’Bombs Away’‘. which we have have sold thousands of copy’s in the past year at shows by word of mouth. Brian recently left the band to pursue other goals and we wish him the best because we wouldn’t be were we are today if it weren’t for him.

From the beginning Point Of View have been in there own State of Mind when writing there inspiring catchy tunes. They are one of the few bands that sound only the way they think they should sound and not what everyone else thinks. Anthony and Nick(as cousins) started playing punk music, in Nick’s garage with a small squire amp and a drum set that sounded like he was banging on a cardboard box, and a mic stand that was two brooms taped together with a cheap mic plugged into a 50 watt stereo. yea it was ghetto, but they just had fun. Thats what developed our great friendship.

After the addition of second guitarist, Andrew Cooper things took off great! Now we welcome our new permanent bass player Chris, and are now on a great path to success.

Playing shows all around Flordia where ever we could, house shows, crappy bars, in the back of alleys, state parks… Wherever they could plug into they tried to play. Now all that hard work has paid off and we are getting good label attention. Whats next for Point Of View? The only thing thats next is to pick one of those labels and do nothing but climb the never ending steep hill.

The brats of P.O.V. are absolutely in love with performing music. we do, play, and say what we want at our shows. we won’t compromise our music for “trends”. Love or hate us….we are POINT OF VIEW
