PlasmaticBrainSpasm formed in late 2003 by Ryan Branstner (guitar, vocals), and Shawn Bachinski (bass), formerly of electro group Perfect Orange. Joined by female vocalists Pepper, Kah, and drummer Aaron Bellamy (Sound Imperium, Soul Reaction). They finished their self-titled debut in 2005 to good reviews, spending the next 2 years playing gigs, showcases, and art events. They were on Pioneer Press’s – Audiophiles Guide to the Twin Cities compilation in 2005, and the <rift> magazine compilation 2. Receiving airplay on local programs, Off the Record (Radio K), Local Sound Department (KFAI), and The Local Show (89.3 the Current), and much support from Spacebar Radio (96.3 Eau Claire). They are currently playing out and working on their follow up release.
