About Pippi Hippie Longstockings

My name is Amber and I live in this very small but very talented town in North Central West Virginia. We offer activites like The Italian Heritage Festival and the Jazz and Wine Festival. Granted these might not seem like a big deal to you all but to us little West Virginians they are our own claim to fame. Check them out if you get the opportunity. Local musicians as well as some bigger names always show up eager to display their talent and passion.
Well, I guess I should be talking about myself. This task is a lot harder than talking up my town. I work at a local Irish Pub with tons of character. It's been around for over 30 years now and the old school feeling is still there with a new twist. I have once again veered away from the initial reason why I am supposed to be writing in this small box. I enjoy all genres of music. Acoustic rock warms my soul the most. There is something about hering that one guitar and one unique voice that gets my blood pumping. I have a wonderful boyfriend who never ceases to amaze me. He is kind, smart, funny, and beyond talented just to name a few of his 1,000,000 great qualities. He pushes me to be a better person and never to doubt myself. I couldn't be more grateful for him walking into my life.
I believe I will add more later when my brain doesn't seem to be preoccupied with 20 other thoughts. Thanks for stopping by!!!

We are an acoustic rock duo when we are out playing LIVE.
I know exactly how you feel about a guitar and a voice. We think if it is a great song, it will stand up on it's own with just a guitar and vocal. (but when we get in the recording studio sometimes we get excited about all the bells and whistles just like everyone else. OOO put an organ there, and some horns there...oh well, what can ya do?)
