PineappleSue is a talented band from Stockholm, Sweden that plays an energetic, melodic, easy-listened style of punk-rock. The band's special form of pop/punk caters to a wide-variety of listeners and seeing the band play live shows is a awesome experience. It all started in the year of 2000, when PineappleSue was formed. The lineup was different from what it is today. Originally Marcus Lannfjäll played the bass while singing the lead vocals. The band also had two other members than today. The old drummer was replaced by the very talented Marcus Eriksson in the fall of 2006, and at the same time Marcus L switched from bass to guitar. The band, now with three members, wasn’t complete until new bass-player Magnus Petersson joined the group in the early summer of 2007. Together with Marcus L, guitar-player Mikael Eklund has been a member since the very beginning. With the two new members PineappleSue was yet again a force to be reckoned with. Sounding better than ever, the band started writing new songs and playing live shows in various places in Sweden. In December 2008 it was time to start recording the fruits of their labor. Drums, bass and guitars were laid down for all the tracks. In January the vocals were recorded and the songs mixed. The 6-track EP was finished at the end of January 2009.
