Phaize I the Lion was born on July 30,1970, in Dayton,Ohio. In 1997 Phaize began to study the Rasta Movement. He met Silent Assassin, 13th Floor, and Picket Fence and formed The Watchmen. From 1998 to 1999 the group released tapes and did shows. In 1999 they met Ill Poetic and Zone Ill( Definition)they joined together to form the group The Cosmic Souls. In 2002 Phaize released his solo debut entitled "The Art of Hip Hop".He changed his name to Phaize I the Lion, but had to stop because he had to tend his family. He just released a free ep entitled "Re-bel Muzec", n finishing up his 2nd album "LION"
