Petey Popoff is a Hip Hop artist from Brooklyn, New York residing in San Antonio, TX. He is the second born to a military father and stay at home mother. Petey has been fortunate to have seen and lived many places around the globe in his lifetime. It was evident at a young age that Petey Popoff was destined to be in the music industry. Very early on he could be found reciting word for word the dialog and songs from legendary hip hop movies such as Krush Groove and Beat Street. Then at age eleven Petey Popoff made his first mix tape. A star was born. Petey is also responsible for forming the group known as High Society and is cofounder of Interstate Ent. The group consists of six members : Petey Popoff, Roc Carder, Young Gyz, Young Breeze, Chizzle Montana, and Dino Tha Hitzman.He was able to take part in a statewide tour with Low Rider Magazine through out Texaswith the group Badd Influinz. He was part of the opening act for groups like Cumbia Kings and SPM. In 2005 he released a poorly recorded album and distributed it to friends. The response from the album was so good it pushed Petey to find a way to come up with better equipment to pursue his dream. With a little hustle and help from investors he acquired the tools to produce the music you hear now. Not only is Petey Popoff an artist he could be the leader of a movement that will carry Hip-Hop into the next generation. With a very strong and dedicated team the sky is the limit for Petey Popoff and all of his future ventures. Currently Petey is working on 401k, a compilation album produced by Dhitz as well as the second mixtape to the Brooklyn Bully Mixtape series.
