In January 2006, COLE DELLA-ZUCCA & TOOTHLESS GEORGE (Toothless George & His One-Man Band, Strychnine Babies, The Halflings) first got together with a song in thier hearts and guitars in hands. For a year and a half, they rehearsed in secret, perfecting their craft, before going into the studio to record with the most respected engineers they knew: Nick Rotundo (NONE MORE BLACK/ BOY SETS FIRE/ THE HUNTINGTONS) and Donnie Switchblade (THE QUEERS/ TEEN IDOLS/ THE EYELINERS). On Friday the 13th of July 2007, they made their live performance debut (their C.D. release show) on one of the most celebrated stages in Philadelphia; The Trocadero’s main stage! They are still too new of a band to have a long resume of accomplishments, but the accomplishments they have made in their first year on the scene have been huge! They have already performed on the Vans Warped Tour, and have opened for RANCID, THE QUEERS, PINK LINCOLNS, ROGER MIRET & THE DISASTERS, and THE FRIGGS, to name a few. They are making new fans everywhere they go, and are having a lot of fun doing what they love! Isn’t that what rock n roll is about? As they enter their second year, they are excited about the addition of DUSTIN JUDE (ex-LOVE CITY) on lead guitar and saxophone. And KID (ex-DAMNED drum tech) sitting on the throne, keeping the band in time. THE PERCOCETTES have just finished recording the follow up to their debut single. They once again called upon Donnie Switchblade to sit at the controls. They hired Gene Grimaldi from Oasis Mastering (TIM ARMSTRONG / NOFX / TIGER ARMY) to master the record.
