Paul Austin

Paul Austin is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University where he received a bachelor's degree in Church Music in 2004 and a master’s degree in Composition and Theory in 2007. While at Hardin-Simmons University Paul was a recipient of the Outstanding Student Composer Award and was also named the 2004 Honors Composer. Paul Austin is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University where he received a bachelor's degree in Church Music in 2004 and a master’s degree in Composition and Theory in 2007. While at Hardin-Simmons University Paul was a recipient of the Outstanding Student Composer Award and was also named the 2004 Honors Composer. A career Pastor of Worship, Paul is currently employed at the First Covenant Church of Salina and his music has been performed at multiple churches throughout the United States. Paul has recorded three albums: Your Are Holy (2002), Come (2005), and Hymns I Know (2008).  Each of these albums display his originality and ability to write easily accessible modern worship songs as well as choral anthems. Paul has recently founded the band Everyday Lights and released a self titled EP with the band in the spring of 2016. He and his wife Kandi have been married since 2004 and currently reside in Salina, Kansas with their children Desiree, Ryker, Cayman, Tannin and Raley.
