hi there Alyssah, seems we meet again as Our 3rd Song “tiphereth” pronounced ti-fur-a has made it to the top 10 in the quarter-finals this past month. anyway i have just finished remixing the tracks for the bands first self titled album release in November of this year and everything is sounding great! And actually we are moving the release date to January or February of 2009. Currently, I am recording songs for the second album, so back on topic, Anyway the Dead Sea Surfers a standard 4 piece band have been a part of ourstage community since it’s inception and http://www.ourstage.com/fanclub/deadseasurfers , and we have now entered the goth / industrial category now for the 3rd time with the song, “tiphereth” seeing we did so well with the first two songs we entered back in July and September we wanted to essentially enter several songs in this category off our first album. And hopefully it will end up working out fantastic for us as it did in July & Sepember. the song "never know" made it to 10th place and “I died for you” made it to 4th place respectfully and actually both songs have been remixed several times since then and much better versions can be heard and bought at Dead Sea Surfers on www.rawrip.com Currently the song, “tiphereth” is perhaps our most intense industrial song with an Arabian key board and guitar solo parts, Tiphereth will be on the debut album and I have described it as a song that has come to fruition when i immersed my body & soul in the analysis & mastery in reading and understanding the underlying meaning of the tarot. Bascically, i devoted my energy & life’s work to the examination of the mystical attributes & symbolism of the tree of life. i wanted to create a song that was a simple chant which crosses emotional desolation with physical exuberance where the TOL image ultimately reveals itself as a guise of vanity in loving one-self first in order to love others more completely. Aleister Tennyson Hobbs... Currently the band is rehearsing to tour the album in the northeast USA and basically the 13 song album will be released by February of 2009, fingers crossed. We actually cover the song shadowplay by JOY DIVISION and it is song number 13 and can also be heard at www.rawrip.com All songs are licensed at BMI and Currently we are shopping it around to several gothic oriented labels in the states although it seems the album is destined to become a self released album as the interest seems low which is a basic reflection of the industry as a whole. On another point, we will be listed in an upcoming book written by "Mick Mercer" a basic authority on the gothic music subculture tentatively called "Music to Die For" he is a music critic native of the UK who has 2 other books published on the Gothic Music Subculture and i believe he has reviewed the complete album recently on his blog or he intends to review it on live journal. http://mickmercer.livejournal.com/
please give us a shout out and we will try to tune in
thank you

Just checking in, to SEE if you set a date for Lynn Carey Saylor's listening party YET! Definitely will keep on EYE out for THAT!!! Sure hope you're planning one for her SOON!
I would like to second my sister Vicky's comment below, and request that you play Lynn's song We Belong, on todays show. I'm also a huge fan of Brian May's as well. Really love Lynn's version of the song, and hearing Brian's smokin guitar work, just makes it that much better.
Hey Alyssa. I would like to request Eileen Rothe's song "Breathe" (contemporary/soft rock) on the party line this evening. My wife & I both fell in love with this song way back when I first joined ourstage as an artist. This song was one of the first songs that I favorited by other artists on my page and I believe that it deserves the opportunity. I do hope that my comment will in some way boost listener confidence in Eileen's music!
