PAR~A~DIGM is a 5-piece alternative rock band that originated in 2006 and is based out of Las Vegas, NV. PAR~A~DIGM’s writing and musical influences includes Altogether Separate, NickelBack, Skillet, Newsboys, DC Talk. The five musicians who comprise PAR~A~DIGM are dedicated and focused on reaching their main goal: to have their music embraced by every listening human being. Reggie Fobbs is the singer and guitarist for the band. He attended professional school in Las Vegas, NV where he majors in music. He is a singer/songwriter that has played at numerous concert and musical events. His musical training originated with learning classical piano for 6 years, prior to switching to learning guitar during his early college days. It was at college where he also developed an interest in songwriting. Over time, he strongly desired to assemble a team of committed musicians to write and perform quality alternative rock music. After years of church performances and constantly writing new material, Reggie convinced other musically talented family member to start a Christian Rock band. A short time passed before Robert Fobbs and Allen Fobbs answered the call as a prospective drummer and lead guitarist. Over the past 3 years, Robert, Reggie and Allen have compiled a diverse knowledge of musical styles such as alternative, rock, pop and progressive into their music. Reggie, Allen and Robert began the process of rehearsing, promoting and building the PAR~A~DIGM’s song catalogue. Over the past year, they also performed well-received acoustic shows of their original material at local churches, patiently waiting for a dedicated and skilled bass player to present himself. After several months of searching for a talented bass player, Reggie convinced his sister, Szi Fobbs, to check out the practice sessions that were going on in Reggie’s garage. Since picking up a bass guitar Szi has gained a variety of experience playing the assorted styles of heavy rock and pop. Szi has infused these elements into her mode of playing bass, focusing all of her skills to rock out the low end of PAR~A~DIGM. After hearing the music the other members were creating, Andre Fobbs willingly agreed to join the group as their new keyboard player. The members of PAR~A~DIGM have entertained at such venues as Canyon Club, Zia Records, Alley Theater, Rocketown in Nashville, The Rox Club, and others and have shared the stage with great bands, such as Haleamano, Bri, Rhyme n Rhythm, Conjob, and Big Beat Battalion, just to name a few. PAR~A~DIGM has spent the past year amassing a number of high-quality rock songs, fine-tuning their unique sonic tone and fleshing out their stage presentation. The band has released their first CD titled PARALYZED and they are looking to establish themselves as “the band to see” and develop a devout following in their home state of Nevada, branching out from there.
