Portrait of Papaya Boy

Hola,Aloha and how yall doin? Welcome to my fan page and please have a seat in the big comfy chairs. Can I get you something to drink? Try some of my organic fruit salad? It's good for whatever ails you and mighty tasty too.
Im glad you stopped by and for this chance to get to know you. Feel free to leave a note, ask a question,a poem or a link, because I really do want to know you.

My muisic is written and performed by me on soprano, baritone and bass ukulele.I also play harmonica's,mandolin and ocarina.

I try to write songs that come from my experiences in life,so please don't expect songs about rocket surgery, cheating, drinking or demeaning women. In fact I do try to write songs for women, and value my friendships with all of you gals and guys.

Hello PB, Yes it is a small world. I have been so busy, not been at Ukeland - but will difinitely check out the podcast and your music page. Working on new songs and trying to get it together for the next cd in Sept. or so. Thanks for staying in touch, friend. Best wishes, Madeline

Hey PB, thanks for the comment. It's true we don't have a lot of commnets. Maybe I don't get how how this OurStage thing works, but it has not been all that worthwhile from my perspective. Our "Night Song" is currently 28th in the Acoustic category, but it has a lot less views than YouTube or MySpace. Anyway, thanks for the support and now you havew another comment too.

BTW your music sounds great (as always) and I hope we cross paths again.

hey thought ud dig this papaya

I’m natural, like the force of gravity keeps pulling me to earth
Be natural, like the occurrence of existence of our universe
I’m natural, like mothers love flowin through her child’s birth
Be natural, like the physics of the seasons, connected to my very being
He’s natural, like dread lock Marley fighting freedom songs
She’s natural, like Margaret fuller pulling weight of one gender strong
They’re natural, like people of the sand demanding the west did them wrong
Its natural, tap into your actual – no rush ease into it like the tune of this song
Be natural, tap into your actual
What if gravity abruptly gave up, wed be fucked
Be natural, act upon your now
Like Gandhi and the third eye, you wonder why
Be natural, ima tell you now
Cause the trees went and told me so, communion through spirit of the natural

Thanks for the comments Papaya Boy. Especially since people think that digital music lacks emotion or soul.

I faved 'Whut I learned at work' for it's truth! Also gotta love the Uke player! Don't let the art die.

Folks its time! Saturday april 19,from 12:00 til dark at Coquina beach,Manatee county florida. This time ,due to popular request,we will be nearer to the south end bath house,in the shade of Australian pines next to the sand dunes and the gulf . Once again we encourage all player, singers, dancers and listeners of all ages and skill levels to enjoy homemade music and the beautiful gulf beach. You can email me for directions or questions.
The weather should not be a problem, but I will do my anti-rain dance just in case and make an announcement here if we have to cancel.

Grab mama and them, your ukes, some sunscreen, whatever you want to eat and drink,
a blanket or an armless chair, and plenty of Aloha to share.
This is going to be great! See yall there,
