Panacea Dream are an alternative/progressive rock band based in Birmingham, England. The band formed in early 2008 when brothers Sam (guitar) & Darius (drums) Khan met Phil Blakeman (bass). The band recorded the “Indelible” 4-track demo in October 2008 with Canadian vocalist Andrew Spark who returned home later that year. Singer and guitarist Wayne Dickenson joined Panacea Dream in summer 2009 and the band is now preparing to play several shows prior to recording an album. Panacea Dream is influenced by various alternative, progressive, punk and metal bands. Whilst much of their music is moody and tense, the band’s sound ranges from soaring ballads to pounding punk which provides versatility in their live performances. The band’s songs often have a strong emotional theme conveyed by both the melody and the lyrics with darker sounds and subjects making a regular appearance. Panacea Dream is looking forward to playing live in the Midlands and further afield over the coming months and performing new material that will enthuse the crowd.
