Ox5tone is the Future of Hip Hop!!!! Nothing else needs to be said… but here’s the drop. He’s straight outta Brooklyn, but too big for one borough; “welcome to New York.” You can get a clear depiction of who he is from this storyteller’s words. He played around with rap in High School, but soon discovered that he was a little ahead of his time as far as the ciphers and battles he’s had. Aligning himself with people of the industry he made his way on to a major record released in the late 90’s. He’s come a long way from his debut on the hood classic album “More Money, More Murder”(Nappy Redd & Filthy Rich). He features on the track “5 Shots,” at the young age of 16.
Things stalled for a while, and Ox5tone had to make a living. While working two jobs and trying to maintain BAMN (By Any Means Necessary), ox kept writing. It wasn’t until now, ten years later, that Ox felt he had it in him to make a serious push for the top. The lack of artistry in today’s music and the “haters” is who he credits for his resurgence, along with a serious team to help him do it. The collaboration with independent label FATMG and artist/producer extraordinaire, VisionNDNS, has helped to produce a couple mixtapes worth of music, and a soon to be completed album. The Mixtape “Winte Warfare: Mask and Gloves” will be available January. Look for the album coming in May.
