Original Sound Trash was born in Portland, Oregon and creates music that is best described as “trash rock.” Claiming that their songs are mere reflections of yesterday’s pop culture found in the dumpster, Original Sound Trash’s style combines a variety of influences for the sole purpose of bringing listeners a fun musical experience like no other. Original Sound Trash was born in Portland, Oregon and creates music that is best described as “trash rock.” Claiming that their songs are mere reflections of yesterday’s pop culture found in the dumpster, Original Sound Trash’s style combines a variety of influences for the sole purpose of bringing listeners a fun musical experience like no other. Original Sound Trash consists of approximately two people: Lauren Hatch and Ryan Casey. Lauren rocks the keyboard (and sometimes the accordion) while Ryan plays guitar. Ryan and Lauren have been jam session buddies since the dawn of time (aka: freshman year of college) and have formed a musical bond that could possibly be compared to that of Lennon and McCartney.
