Opticon

With its beginnings as a studio project during a cold winter in Northeast Ohio in early 2010, Opticon developed into the brainchild of several musicians from the weathered steel city of Youngstown. These musicians, each from various musical backgrounds, came together to push the limits of the electronica/industrial genre by blurring the lines between rock/metal/techno/pop. Out of the initial studio sessions Opticon soon transitioned into a full band destined for the big stage laden with electronic percussion, overdriven synths, and soaring melodic vocals.

The band's [Alpha EP] was officially released in October 2010. Opticon is currently in the studio working on new material.
