I just want to explain how I feel about Our stage and what it means to me in the short time that I have been a part of it. I've been spending more time here than I ever dreamed- it's been first place above many of my priorities and I still can't believe something like this would. I couldn't wait to return from LA to get back on the stage and that has never happened to me before in my life time!
I'm extremely competive... I've held many titles in beauty pagents, modeled print landed in major magazines, received numerous awards for poetry, received proclamations from govoners for helping children, have been issued patents and trademarks and the list goes on... I don't care about winning prizes for my music here. Some of my songs are still sitting in the 500's some of which I have recieved purchase offers on, radio play etc... The bigger advantage on Our Stage is to make FANS so that you can network fast with people who share the same common ground. While I have much to network aside from my music, I think it's the best feature that Our Stage has to offer. Why not take advantage of it so we can all win-
So.... if I send you a message asking you to check out my friend or friends, it only means that I am trying to help my friends (fans) gain more fans (from my fan club). When I judge, I listen for better music, better melodies, vox, voice, song arrangement and production. I can't remember all of my fans and what everyone sings at the time.
Bottom line, if you receive a message from me asking you to become a fan of one of my fans, please help them- that's what friends are for right??? Feel free to send the same type of message out to help your own fans the same.

I would like to thank you guys for all your support and those of you who are responsible for helping "Dear Diary" get to number 1! We've been pushing that song for over a year now and have been on the radio in the states, as well as overseas, so things are going pretty well and we only have the fans and your support to thank for that(continue to keep it at number one, as well as voting for "Only One" by E. Bland).

Artists United For Cures is having a fundraiser July 31, 2008 to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3Day Walk. The show is at The Cubby Bear in Chicago but even if you are not in Chicago you can still support the cause in two ways. You can simply go to www.artistsunitedforcures.com and go to the donation page and make a donation in any amount. There is a widget that you should click that will take you directly to the Susan G. Komen donation page. The other way to participate and see the show is to purchase an online ticket for the live web broadcast for only $5.
Select either option and they both help us towards our goal of raising $10K for the walk.

SHE IS DEAD so I think it would be hard for her to enter her song in the contest. AND she is moving up the chart from 100+ to 63 as of this morning. SOMEONE IS LOSING TO A FRAUD!!!
PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS SONG AND COMPARE IT TO HER video ON YOUTUBE. Search it on youtube and you will find it right there.
WE ALL HAVE THE RIGHT and RESPONSIBILITY TO FLAG SCAMMERS AND ALL INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL IN ALL CATEGORIES.
The people who have been using the ORIGINAL ARTISTS versions as their own are COMMITTING FRAUD and they need to know that they will NOT get away with it.
I think this site has great potential and can be a wonderful tool but the contests MUST BE FAIR for the credibility of this site to be insured.
Fairness also extends to COVER SONGS in ORIGINAL CHANNELS so if you come across one, PLEASE FLAG IT ALSO. Those judging the JAZZ channel should be particularily ALERT to covers in that channel.

Minneapolis, eh? Cool - I'm from Aberdeen, South Dakota; we visit the Twin Cities all the time. And my older brother went to school there.
How did you 'friend' me? did my music come up in a 'battle'? did you like it? any criticisms? (the recording was just done in my bedroom, so give that part a break - it's only a demo) ...I just got on this OurStage thing and am excited.
Right now I'm in Ithaca, New York, studying at Cornell. I decided to stay here for the summer to try to get some gigs in NYC. I've just been emailing venues out of the blue... do you have any connections (anywhere) to help out an aspiring guitarist?

Just A Little Girl is by Amy Studt and this is Amy Studt singing on the OS upload, not this supposedly 13 year old girl. Good catch! Fallin' is an Alicia Keys song and the upload on OS is Alicia Keys not a 13 year old! What could someone possibly hope to gain from doing this? I didn't check them all, after those two being the exact recordings, I really didn't think it was necessary to check further. I sent this to Daniel Palmer as well, everyone else should also.

It has every site where my music can be found around the web at the bottom of page one. If you go to see all those sites, it could give you ideas of where to put up your music. All the sites I put music on, were for free too. I wanted to try the Gorillia site, but I am not sure about it. Big time producers go to it, but I think if they can down load it they have the right to perform it with other artisits to see if they really like it and stuff and that is flatout stealing people's music so, I didn't put it there.

I was just checking out your stuff after I got your message. I really liked your video. I just wanted to let you know a couple of things that I think will help you understand the play counters you are seeing on that page. First, the play counters don't count any battles being done on your item, only normal plays in our channel player.
Secondly, don't forget that just because you weren't #1 in the channel doesn't mean people didn't love your work. To be #114 in Pop is a HUGE accomplishment - You were ranked 114 out of 720! Don't sell yourself short at all my friend - people loved your music. Next month you'll have an all-new chance to do better as well. Hang in there - the fans on OurStage do appreciate your music!

You are the first person to send me a freind requist. So how many celebraties are on this sight?
Just a quick "Thanks" to everyone who supported our song in the Instrumental Channel. We were totally surprised and delighted to see "The Watkinsville Strut" in the top 20! We know that there is a lot of great music on Our Stage, so deciding on which song is better can be a very difficult task. We feel very fortunate and honored that folks have rated our song so well.
We would like to also congratulate all our friends and fellow musicians whose songs also made it into the top 20 of their chosen channels this month! With the surge in entries over the last few months (many channels have 1000 or more entries), finishing in the top 100 of any OurStage channel is an accomplishment to be proud of!
