About Nick Lattanzi

Portrait of Nick Lattanzi

Nick Lattanzi is a 19 year old artist from Boston, known for his unique blend alternative folk, reggae, psychedelic sampling, and hip hop. Nick is probably best known for his Boston street performances, which can also be heard in subways stations throughout the summer.

He has grown up playing venues from Harvard Square’s traditional folk spot Club Passim to college spots like the All Asia Bar, Kennedy’s Midtown, and The Channel Cafe. After two appearances Passim’s famed “Cutting Edge of the Campfire” festival, and being named winner WUMB’s 2008 Boston Folk Festival songwriting contest, Nick started to catch the attention of local radio hosts. His performance of “American Eyes” at the Boston Folk Festival earned him the respect of folk fans from around the northeast, and his growth as an artist is just beginning. With his 2008 release Paxamericana getting heavy airplay on local college stations, Nick Lattanzi is the youngest member of a thriving Boston music scene.

Nick has released two full length albums, called “Shiny Car!” (2007) and “Paxamericana” (2008). Both albums are available on itunes and other online stores.
