Well let me introduce you to an artist whose passion and anger has kept him focused and prepared for a life of greatness. Nice pain was born in Houston Texas, a baby with premature lungs from a neglected pregnancy so you can see he started life struggling like a lot of newborns in the 80’s. His mother was an addict, whose addiction could not let her take proper care of him so she decided to put him up for adoption, New York is where he ended up and would get no better for him. For the first 9 yrs coping with adhd and behavioral problems nice became a wild and impulsive child, his adoptive mother was emotionally weak from a difficult divorce and had a nervous break down and admitted him to a behavioral hospital (L.I.J). Years later at 12 nice bounced from foster care to foster care with no contact with his mother for 1 year. By the time he was 13 he was in several temporary homes and quite a few group homes but found permanent housing in East Meadow NY where life was still a struggle but he found a love for writing poems and for music he believed it was a way for him to vent what he was going through. LL cool J was playing more then a crush he recalls “and that’s all it took for me to be hooked”. That song was a reason for nice to pursue a career in becoming a mc, he believes this is what he was destined to do. Knowing it would be a struggle he has made very positive strides in accomplishing his goals He has worked with the likes of DJ KSlay, DJ GREEN LANTERN, SUPERSTAR J DJ WHITEOWL, DR DRE, DJ LIVE FROM B.E.T. DJ DON DEMARCO, DJ CINEMA AND MELLO, NAMED UNSIGNED ARTIST OF THE QUARTER 2006 OPENED UP FOR PAPOOSE AT THE DIGITAL LIFE TOUR, He’s been on TV and in VIP with the best of the best artist. 2010 looks like a promising year for Nice pain with his debut street album coming soon and a couple of main features, the game should get prepared for the next big thing out of New York.
