Pursuing one’s dream is to realize your talent and seize opportunities to achieve your goals. With strong Jamaican roots in Central Village, St. Catherine, Jamaica, Ner-val is a unique person who is determined to emerge on the local and international scene as a new reggae sensation. Ner-val uncovered this new venture by seizing perfect opportunities. In 2006 he literally ran into an old friend who happened to own “Cash Flow Studio in Kingston. It was during this first encounter that he wrote his first song on the Tear Drop Rhythm. This single was recorded immediately and for the first time he realized that his sound had matured. Ner-val jokingly says that his “sound”/musical talent was realized at birth when he was greeted with the famous slap from the nurse in the delivery room. The response was phenomenal so it was a matter of time before destiny took charge of this aspect of his life. Ner-val, the reggae artiste emerged on the music scene in less than three years and has developed his record label called “Saint Gone Bad Productions.” This name is to solidify his commitment to explore another phase of his life. 2008 marks his emersion in the reggae culture where the term “Bad” is synonymous to the excellent talent and creativity, complemented with a strong work ethic, motivation and maximizing opportunities to achieve success. Since then this musical train has been working non-stop to meet the next series of goals. As the first of two sons in his family, Ner-val plays the leadership role exceptionally well and undoubtedly is poised for dominance in the reggae genre. He recorded “Time for Love” upon his second visit to the studio and the trend was set. So it was no surprise that the third song “Wine” was developed and recorded in his subsequent visit. As destiny was prevail from impromptu visits to the studio, Ner-val decided to take his talent to the world!.
