Neraida is the creation of Marika Papazoglou (myself) and other talented musicians who helped to bring this vision to life. For as long as I can remember, music has been a major part of my life, a way of expressing myself in times where words themselves failed to communicate the message, when the feeling of either happiness or sorrow was too much to endure that it had to be translated into piano keys and vocal melodies. On April 2009 I went into the studio to record my first album. It was a great school for me and I was blessed to work with many talented people, including Emir Isilay, the main producer of the album and Danish guitarist Thomas Hjorth. Almost a year later, the album "Outside the Box" came to life. I'm so proud and happy to be able to share it with all of you. This album has been a catharsis for me, almost like writing a diary where you can release all your thoughts and emotions without judgement. Where you can go back later on and see yourself at different stages of your life and remember the lesson you got through each experience. That helps you get perspective on things and grow. I hope this album will take you on a journey "Down the rabbit hole" to discover your own truths. For me this was only the beginning… Enjoy the ride! Neraida
