Natalie Major grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago with a love for a variety different styles of music. Decided one day that she was born to do nothing other then create music with an acoustic guitar and some soulful vocals. With a recent move to New York City she is working closely with manager, Ron Reymann to someday let the world hear all she has to offer.
The melodies, lyrics, and song arrangements she writes for herself are based off her own personal life experiences. “If you actually open your eyes to view what music brings, it’s phenominal. You can be surrounded by the worst and listen to one song that will make you feel like you can defeat anything. And it’s not about the fame, or the success. It’s about when a song comes on and you can dance your troubles away, cry your eyes out, be inspired to do things, feel things. Just listen to the words, the guitar riffs, the drums, the melody, the harmonies.” Says Natalie.
Natalie Major is an upcoming artist with a pop/rock influence with a whole lot of soul. Her influences begin with Lauryn Hill, Pink, Christina Aguilera,, James Morrison, Jason Mraz, John West, Natasha Bedingfield, Adele, Citizen Cope and a bunch more.
