Richard "Napalm {The Don}" Lawson Jr was born May 16 in Chicago's south side. Everyone always knew that music would play a major role in his life. Listening to the tune of his uncle's guitar as he played and did shows with his band, led to a love for the music most unheard of for a youngster. The moment of clarity came when he bought LL Cool J's cassette tape called "I'm bad". From that point, he knew that Hip Hop was the path of life he wanted to pursue. Growing up in the Englewood area of the city posed a stumbling block for that dream, as "Hustling" became the #1 focus, putting music to the side. After all the ups and downs it took a close friend to make Richard come back to reality and recognize the talent he had to offer. Ever since, he has recorded numerous hits, did shows all over the city and in different states, and also has collabed with some of the hottest artists and producers becoming a force to be reckoned with in the world of "Hip Hop". Now with the right people and the right connects, "The Road to Prosperity" is looking very bright. With the experience Napalm has had in the music business, he was confronted by a longtime friend (Stacey) who invited him to be a part of a movement with Breezy Entertainment. He gladly joined the team and was given the title of Co Ceo to the company. He also has been featured on many new mix tape cd's such as, DJ Slugo's "Respect My Grind", DJ Drama's "The Stimulus Package", and also DJ Smoke's "I'm Dat Nigga" and "Independantz Daze" mix tape. He recently won a spot in the November issue of Eigo Magazine. (my-ultreigo.com) and a spot on Coast2Coast mix tape with a major artist.
