My Scar is essentially the solo project, of myself Theo Scardasis. Having been involved with a few bands in the past I became disillusioned with the whole band thing and decided to go it alone. This way I can fully realise my visions and ideas without having to compromise them. My aim is to take the best elements of Metal, Rock and Hardcore (plus a bit of weirdness for good measure) and combine them to create something which is heavy yet melodic, that’s not afraid to experiment and think outside the box. I am not interested in what is considered ‘cool’ or what is considered ‘true’ to any particular genre, or sub-genre, I am making the music I want to make, and what I want to hear.
