Simplicity Unveils Debut Album with Release Party and ConcertEvent set for July 13, 2014 at Four Day Weekend Comedy Theater in Fort Worth Fort Worth, TX – Pop duo Simplicity celebrates the release of their debut album, “More Than Myself,” with a CD release party and concert on July 13, 2014 at the Four Day Weekend Theater (312 Houston Street in downtown Fort Worth). This special event is open to the public and will begin at 7:00pm with a concert on the main stage featuring live performances of tracks from “More Than Myself”, followed by a reception in the lobby at 8:00pm. Admission is $10 and includes admittance and signed CD to take home with you; parking is free. Simplicity consists of singer/songwriters Ray Sharp (musical director for Four Day Weekend Comedy) and Deanna Sharp Green, a brother/sister duo who,  after a 10-year hiatus, have returned to the music scene with their first-ever album and a unique, fresh sound (think Portishead meets Gorillaz meets Depeche Mode). This talented duo has spent the past two years writing and recording “More Than Myself” in their home studio, and the album was brought to fruition through a successful Kickstarter campaign which raised the remainder of the funds needed for the 11-track CD to be mixed and mastered by David Castell, a Dallas-based record producer, musician, and recording engineer who has been instrumental in career albums of bands like Blue October, The Toadies and Deep Blue Something.  (davidcastellmastering.com) “We’re so appreciative of everyone who contributed to this project,” said Sharp. “This two-year journey is coming to a close and we couldn't be more excited about the finished product.
