Well since then Ashley has played with and been on the same bills as such artists as The Gin Blossoms, John Mayer, Etta James, Evan Dando of the Lemonheads, Hollywood Actor Dennis Quad, and Maria McKee. He performed live and made it to the wild card round on the hit NBC Show "Star Tomorrow" which was hosted by Award Winning Producer David Foster and now has released his new single/video for the hit song "Beauty Dream". Ashley ditched Corporate America for the romance of Southern California's surf and sun. Ashley not only became entrenched in the surf culture but he also began an intense love affair with music. The South African-born artist, emerged from San Diego's music scene in with his much-acclaimed debut album Twelve Days in January. Ashley has been described by critics and the media as having an unforgettable voice and hook-laden songs, while his album has been called a deceptively ingenious melodic modern rock debut.
