Born 1962, and raised in Flint, Michigan, Eric was beating on pots and pans at age one. He is the youngest of 10 children; he started getting serious about music performance in middle school, after listening to his older brothers’ bands. Eric played formal clarinet in the public school setting through 4th, 5th and 6th grades, and started playing Drums and percussion in the 7th grade middle school band. Became a composer of all styles of music after High School Graduation (Northwestern High) Flint, Mi.
