MR. BEATZ is an MC (as well as a DJ and beat maker) who grew up in Westchester, NY and now lives in Brooklyn, NY. He is an underground Hip Hop artist who has now teamed up with a super producer named Skammadix (Jedi Mind Tricks, Sabac Red, Reef the Lost Cauze, etc.) to create some Golden Era/Underground Hip Hop that has been missing from commercial radio. Beatz pushes the envelope with lyricism while Skammadix brings raw, hard production to the table along with the element of scratching since both are also DJs. They are currently working on an album scheduled for a late 2008 release. As far as beats, he doesn’t have the name “Beatz” for nothing. He’s no stranger to the MPC and also plans to have an impact on the underground from being the man behind the boards in the production arena. Thirdly, DJing is what MR. BEATZ is also known for. If you live in the NY area, you may catch him behind the turntables at various Hip Hop events in NYC. You may also see him performing on stage as a DJ for certain underground groups (Zoned Out, Day Laborers, etc.) so don’t be surprised! Hip Hop is his thing and he lives and expresses it in many different ways.
