Moving Sunshine is Ryan Smith, an up and coming singer/song writer born and raised in chicago. Deeply rooted in music, he grew up with music around him from a young age. Throughout the years his musical influences began to broaden and is most currently influenced by artists such as Elliott Smith, Elvis perkins, and Lady of the Sunshine.

In 2009, now only 18, he began throughly pursusing music. Recruiting a few close friends (Derick Downey, Patrick Daniels, and Erik Martin) to write, record, and play shows. Currently writing for a debut EP, only time will tell what can become of such a young act.
