MoorWalker, is a writing project that is influenced by African, Arabic and Latin drum patterns combined with RockGuitar riffs and techo keyboard sounds. This is an open project and all musicians are welcome to perform on our songs.

Personally, I have played in Cover Rock bands , an Alternative tribal band, and was part of a project that lead me to recording source material for TV shows and movies. I had a drum cameo in one of those movies and have played live on the Vancouver breakfast show.

I have recently worked with my guitarist friend, the Brie..played live with The Jimmy Zee band( Songwriter for JD Bixby) I have also recorded some percussive backing tracks, for New York Producer, Greg Bertinelli.

I have to say, as of late, Im really loving and appreciating Arabic drum and percussion grooves.

My musical influences and inspirations are

Loreena Mckennitt, Nancy Ajram, Yothu Yindi , Def Leppard and Lights.
