Molly grew up in the Capital Region, the youngest of three children in a creative and supportive family. She started out playing the piano and keyboard, writing music for her older brother, a student filmmaker. She learned the basics of digital music making and later gravitated to the warmth of the acoustic guitar, following in the footsteps of her mother, a seasoned singer/guitarist. Since that time she has developed into a talented songwriter, turning heads at local acoustic venues. A strong instrumentalist with a voice “like honey”, she effortlessly crosses genres, from blues to contemporary to country. Recently she has broken out of the acoustic mold and is also singing in an eclectic rock band, in which she continues to hone her skills as a musician.
