About Miss Teasa
Why so bitter girls?
Miss Teasa is a fun and filthy dance music composer who loves to perform for the men who will never love her and backed up by the Bitter Blondes who love to hate her.
She started out as a loud-mouth, wise-ass kid who needed to be taught some discipline, so she was enrolled in the Conservatory of Music in Montreal to train as a classical pianist. However, through the years, despite a love and admiration for the works of Bach and Chopin, she became more interested in what her fingers wanted to do, and not the notes in front of her. Thus started her path in composing her own music...
It was during those high school years in Toronto when she became exposed to different types of music, and found a love and appreciation for rock, hip hop, electronica dance music. But other interests started to take up her time, and eventually music was something she listened to but not created herself. No longer a wiseass kid - she was now just a teenager with a developed fear of singing in public.
After almost 5 years out of the music scene, what was it that drew her back into it? Was it the many drunken karaoke nights with friends? A few enlightening concerts? Her new Mac computer? The dust build on her keyboard? Or the encouragement of friends and family?
All of the above.
So here she is now. Jaded by the years lost, she's not (that's what the Bitter Blondes are for) and she no longer fears the mic. She's back to being the loud-mouth, wise-ass kid she once was...only with a better sense of rhythm, a huge appreciation for music, and a great set of legs...
Ripe and ready - here's Miss Teasa.

Canadian Music Week
I have learned so much these last few days at the Canadian Music Week Conference. The one big lseeon I learned – put ona good show. Selling a CD here and there can only get you so far, but it’s the live performance that makes you memorable…and gets you fans I’ve been so fortunate to “meet” other artists on-line, but I think our music tends to get lost among the countless other artists out there! So when you have a chance to erpform live, make it count!
I hope I can take my won advice for my show tomorrow night ;)
