Ming’s Pretty Heroes is the band around the Rotterdam based, 23 year old singer and songwriter Ming. Inspired by life she first comes up with the lyrics and subsequently turns those into songs when she’s playing the piano.She approaches regular themes like love and fear, or for example the awkward ways of society, from different levels; worldly or personally. Ming has feelings about many things. Is amazed by a lot of matters. Would certainly like to change a lot in the world. But she feels writing and singing about all these matters, satisfies most. Ming’s sometimes melancholic Pretty Heroes like to grab their listeners and fill them up with either emotions they can adopt, or emotions they can identify with. Either one is fine.The band exists of musicians always searching for a great sound. Playing and creating music is something they do very well in everyday life, certainly in Ming’s formation.Up until now Ming’s Pretty Heroes released the ep “Cut off From Gravity”. The band is busy with an even better album on which also lyrics and music will be crossing melodically, but in a telling way. Just recently in a band contest called GPZH, MPH got voted on en masse to be awarded the audience’s price. This is a price they want to win every time they are being heard.
