This talented music producer from Dayton, OH, born in Tacoma, WA, has a knack for bending trends. Performing in bands from 5th grade until graduation from Fort Valley State University playing the trumpet helped to hone his musical knowledge and experience. It wasn’t until 2002, when his mother gave him “the gift to release his gift,” that Michael Brown became Mike Bz. Using the rare game, MTV Music Generator 2 for the Playstation 2, he experimented more with music by playing around with the samples provided on the game as well as mimicking beats that he found interesting.

He soon started producing his own material. It was mostly for fun and entertaining his friends, but he loved creating something new and different. Being open minded, he listened to any and everything, so he indulged in the many forms of music. Genius was a common comment he would hear as others would listen to his music. Humble to the end, he would just laugh it off and keep working.

Around Christmas of 2003, he met a rapper that was dating his sister at the time. They sparked enough of an association to each other for the rapper to introduce Bz to Fruity Loops. From then on, Mike Bz has generated eccentric melodies with pulse pounding drums to personify his personal feelings over the years. He’s been eager to show off his skills, but it’s only a hobby. He hasn’t even started yet.

He now resides in Suitland, MD. He has been making beats similiar to those made popular today… years ago. He has been evolving, and he can’t stop.
