In 2007 Michael headlined his own show at the prestigious Celtic Connections at St Andrews in the Square, as well as appearances at Big in Falkirk, In the City (2005), Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Craic Festival in New York, Merchant City Festival, Castlepoolza in Ireland and the Wickerman Festival. Michael’s song Mercy Me was used in a New Mexico independent film Descansos which the film has since won Local awards and has had rave reviews for the soundtrack highlighting the song Mercy Me.
