Hanging out in song circles with unusual tongues and cultures for many years, Michael has absorbed some funky world music vibes, which he weaves into his catch, percussive folk tunes.
Michael was born in a mill town on the Thames River in New England, raised in the sin, sun, and sands of south Florida, and returned north for college, where he learned that there was more to music then Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, and Tom Petty. Interspersing legal studies with gigs at Nashville beer joints playing Jimmy Buffett and Marshall Tucker covers, he graduated with an advanced degree in rockabilly.
Michael currently makes music in Santa Ana, Costa Rica.
