Make a joyful noise to the Lord
Hello, I'm a songwriter and musician who plays guitar, bass and a little drums and keyboards.
I produce and work with different singers, songwriters and bands in my recording studio and I give music lessons as well.
I really love the Lord and I've been a Praise and Worship leader for the last 15 years, as well as playing with my christian rock band.
Through the years I've worked with many great musicians and most recently I was a founding member of the Nashville band DIFFERENCE UNITED see www.differenceunited.com
My own band, MICHAEL CORNETT AND THE ELIJAH PROJECT U.S.A. is going to Northeastern India to play some concerts in late August and early September. In the states we do most of our ministry in prisons, drug rehab centers, tent & camp meetings and church revivals. Sometimes I go out by myself when there's not enough time to coordinate all the guys in the band.
You can purchase songs from my self-produced CD " You are Everthing I Need " on the Michael Cornett & The Elijah Project USA link.
I live about 100 miles north of Atlanta on a beautiful horse ranch in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, in a big old converted barn right next door to the horse stables. My recording studio takes up the middle floor of the building, and my wife Janie and I live in the old hay loft upstairs.

Thanks to all my fans and friends !!!
By messaging back and forth I’ve gotten to know so many sincere, talented and motivated songwriters. This is such a great way to keep up with what’s happening in the creative aspect of the music business. I’ve so enjoyed getting to know those of you who’ve honored me with your friendship. I wanted to thank all of you who support my music as a fan or by judging in the monthly battles. Your comments on my profile have really encouraged me to go and visit different profiles and get to know what’s going on musically on this website.
I’ve heard the best and the worst songs imaginable, but through it all I’ve been blessed to keep meeting wonderful people who aren’t afraid to open up and share their feelings and thoughts with me. ...

I sincerely appreciate your encouraging words. The greatest compliment is that God is being glorified and He alone. The only reason I post songs are in the hopes that they will speak directly to the heart and soul, or at the very least, open a line of communication for God to be able to be heard. Please visit my actual site at www.jeffdavismusic.org It is brand new so please sign the guest book at the bottom. Again, thanks Michael! God's peace, direction and everlasting grace to you!

So glad that we are friends. Thanks so much for your words of guidance and encouragement. Let's stay in touch. I love your song, "Holy Spirit" which is the sentiment of all of our hearts in worshipping our soon coming King of Kings.
God bless,

Thanx for the kind words. We hope our music appeals to kids as well as us old "80,s Metal" people. We've also have a few P&W covers we mix into our shows when there's time. Binding Faith should have a CD available by mid summer '08. BTW - As of this writing, ALL members of Binding Faith have just returned from Good News via de Cristo Men's Weekend #42 (4/11-13), a powerful experience in God's Grace. Please keep them lifted up in prayer as they will for you.
Thanx and God Bless,
Greg - BINDING FAITH Guitarist

Thank you first for finding us, for your friend request, and for your kind comments regarding our song "Busy Day."
I just listened to all of your tunes. Have to commend you for the tight instrumentation and your singing. Appreciate, too, the variety of styles you have posted. I am quite confident that, given your talent as a singer-songwriter and musician, that you will land that record deal!
I especially loved your first song "Lift Up Your Heads Oh You Gates." Was a beautiful adaptation of one of the psalms as a song of praise. I am adding it to my list of favorites. And a huge congrats for your standing with that song in the Acoustic contest. Hope your stand keeps rising as it deserves.
I would like to invite you to listen in particular to Barb's single I have posted called "Wholly." It is a song of healing that I especially think you would appreciate. If you would care to review it, I would appreciate your comments. We have basically produced and sell it at cost, seeing it as a kind of ministry.
Pax Christi,
Tom
Thank you for the kind words. I like your music, especially Holy Spirit. Loved reading about your place in Georgia, sounds like a great life. Keep up the great work.
