METROPOLITAN es el nuevo grupo proveniente de la República Dominica que Hay que Escuchar. Their debut album titled “Pop Deluxe” is a Pop-rock album with a retro edge. Their first single penned by Dominican Icon Juan Luis Guerra became a Billboard Chart Topper in 1991 by Mexican star Emmanuel. The band takes “No He Podido Verte” and makes it their own, their fresh approach has fans twittering “One of the few Remakes that is as great as the the original”. Su primer álbum “Pop Deluxe” es una producción dentro del Pop-Rock con un toque retro. El primer sencillo, “No He Podido Verte” fue escrito por el ícono dominicano Juan Luis Guerra e interpretado originalmente por la estrella mexicana Emanuel y en el 1991 fue parte de los Top 10 de Billboard. METROPOLITAN tomó “No He Podido Verte” y la hizo propia con un arreglo musical contemporáneo el cual tiene a los fans expresando en Twitter que “Es una de las pocas canciones en las que la nueva versión es igual de buena que la original.” Panky the Lead Singer, songwriter and executive producer wrote most of Pop Deluxe’s original songs. While Luinis the bands Drummer, Producer, worked on the musical arrangements and sound. METROPOLITAN está compuesto por Panky el Vocalista, compositor y productor Ejecutivo quien compuso canciones originales en Pop Deluxe. Luinis baterista/ compositor y Productor del álbum Pop Deluxe y trabajó en los arreglos musicales y sonido. After a full year of hard work the album was mixed by Matt Knobel, who has worked with artist such as Michael Jackson, JZ, Billy Joel, Beyonce y Lenny Kravitz and masterized by Christian Wright at Abbey Road studios in London. Luego de un año de mucho trabajo y dedicación la producción fue mezclada por Matt Knobel quien ha trabajado con artistas tales como Michael Jackson, JZ, Billy Joel, Beyonce y Lenny Kravitz entre otros para luego ser masterizado por Christian Wright en los estudios Abbey Road en Londres. Although this is the first album released under METROPOLITAN, this is Panky and Luinis’s third collabo. The first two, with the group Panky y los Manolos, in which they took the islands most coveted award Premio Casandra. With Pop Deluxe METROPOLITAN is poised to storm the international stage. Aunque esta es la primera producción que METROPOLITAN saca a la venta, esta es la tercera colaboración entre Panky y Luinis. Las primeras dos fueron con el grupo Panky y Los Manolos. Una de estas colaboraciones les dio a Panky y Los Manolos el honor de recibir el galardón más codiciado de la Isla, Premio Casandra.
