Whether it’s with their high energy, blow the roof off rock show, or stripped down, intimate acoustic sets, Merrill has been winning over a legion of fans with their emotionally charged music since 2006.
The band consists of singer/songwriter/guitarist Chris Merrill, lead guitarist Eli Johnson, bass player Robert Finn, keyboardist Jeremy Dan, and drummer Jason Langton to bring you music that manages a soulful past with a blend of rhythm and rock to form a sound that transcends categories.
Merrill has opened for such acts as Maroon 5, Counting Crows, and Augustana. In addition, they were selected to play the 2007 Bumbershoot Music Festival playing with such acts as Crowded House, The Shins, Gym Class Heroes, Danger Radio, and Panic at the Disco. And the band is blowing up the radio having received regional airplay for their song “The One Thing”.
Though the band is often touring, the group’s roots are in Portland, Oregon.
Merrill released their debut album, “Evolutions” in September of 2008 and their sophomore album “A Beautiful Disaster” in September 2009.
