So I’m judging for the finals and I’m confused, please help me out. I’m judging R&B/Soul but there’s rap songs that I’m listening to, what’s going on with that? Shouldn’t that song be flagged? That’s like us Putting our ballet “Movin’ On” in a Rap or Hip Hop category, right? Or am I not looking at things in the proper perspective. I know we all work hard with our music (going to the studio, engineers, getting it mixed and mastered) but if there is a Rap song that makes the finals over ANY R&B/Soul song, isn’t shouldn’t that be against the rules or maybe they should look into that. I just got an email from a friend of mine Daniel Palmer about a change that was made so maybe I’ll look into this matter a little more and get back to you. As you may be aware, our channel competitions are more popular than ever. Its one of the reasons we limit artists to 1 song per channel. Well, I’m happy to announce another rule change, starting in June, to help ensure the best music and video judging experience possible. I won’t explain the changes in this message though.
