MC Flow is a quick-witted, rhyme-spittin', female rapper from San Diego, California. Originally from New York, Flow moved out West in 2000, and quickly made a name for herself as a feisty, female lyricist with controversial lyrics and an engaging live show. In April 2008, Flow and her band released their debut album, "Incredible", a project that combines booty shakin' beats with the rapid-fire politically charged rhymes she is known for. Nothing is off limits for MC Flow -- whether she is rapping about pop-culture, equal rights, or the challenges of being a female rapper, she does so with a fierceness and ingenuity all her own. But the force that is MC Flow is something that must be experienced live to be fully understood! MC Flow is backed by producer Taylor-Tay, fly-girl/dancer GG, and turntablist DJ Rob Fayder. The band has opened for hip-hop superstars Common, T.I. and Clipse, as well as up-and-coming artists such as Yo Majesty, Jeffree Star, and Grand Ole Party. Flow and her band mates can also be heard singing back-up on two tracks ("I'm Yours" and "Make It Mine") off Jason Mraz's latest album, "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things." “Her name describes it all, MC Flow; as in lyrics that just flow out of her with no hesitation or pause; PC creativity that flows out with humor and skill. This high-achiever from New York has come to the West coast with her style (and accent) to provide a funky, laid-back beat perfect for the cool San Diego scene. But don’t underestimate this girl’s talent, because not only can she perform a song worthy enough to bust a groove (“Def Perception”), she can also put you on blast and make you beg.” – URB Magazine “A powerful and talented rapper” -- San Diego Union Tribune “MC Flow opens her debut album with the title track that truly says it all. "Incredible"... or amazing, captivating, possibly incendiary. The New York native, now reppin' San Diego, delivers the goods from beginning to end. MC Flow constructs her lyrics with intense creativity and swiftness. Flow's diction and delivery is explosive on each and every track.” -- OutHipHop.com "She’s reminiscent of what I like about hip-hop; it’s fun, party music...She came out of nowhere, in a town not known for hip-hop, and stole the show,” - FM94.9 DJ Tim Pyles to San Diego Downtown News
