hi! i just wanted to let you know that you are honestly the most inspirational person i have ever heard (?)-- although i have never met you everything you sing in all your songs just makes sense.. i have been a huge fan ever since last spring when i heard car crash on the radio and i fell in love. i bought every song i could find and fell in love with every single one of them! i dont have a favorite song- i have a favorite artist! one day not too long ago i heard come on get higher on the radio and was like whaaat? so many people in my school were like yeah, that's a good song, but i just wanted to tell them it is one of many good songs! i just wanted to say thanks for being such an amazing artist.. and i hope you come back to iowa!

well i just read someone else's comment and i totally did the same thing.. to wake up in the morning i turn on VH1 and listen to all random stuff.. i heard "come on get higher" and i totally fell in love!!! then i was at work and heard it again and totally freaked out.. and was like "THIS IS THAT SONG!!! OMG totally my new favorite song! (ya i know i'm kind of a nerd..)" anyways i couldn't wait to find it online once i got home.. now i constantly play it when i'm getting ready or just trying to relax.. i'm going to get the cd soon and i can't wait to hear all the other amazing songs you've come up with.. good luck and can't wait to see you in PORTLAND,OR!

I discovered you about 6 months ago on youtube! I am a huge Patty Griffin fan - i saw your cover of Forgiveness and that was it - THE REST IS HISTORY! I CAN NOT GET ENOUGH OF YOUR MUSIC NOW! i have spread the word and love about you! Your songwriting is ridiculous! LYRICALLY BEAUTIFUL! My friend and I bought Outside Lands Festival tickets just to see you for the first time! it wasnt enough!! Cant wait for the San Fran show - To get VIP tickets would be a godsend! NOT TO MENTION YOU ARE ONE FUNNY MO FO! and you have a great band too! To sing STILL with you is a HUGE DREAM of mine! i know probably not gonna happen! but to meet you and get a little pic! that would amazing too! I have never loved every song on an album before! I LITERALLY love every song on Beneath These Fireworks and Some Mad Hope! and your older stuff is so great too! I'm sure so many people are writing and wishing they get picked for the tickets!
