I have a friend who was quoted as saying “Music is like chocolate for our souls.” There’s a lot of truth in that. My heart is to write and play for the glory of the Father. I hope that those songs will move someone closer to Him and make a difference in their lives. The greatest joy for me as a musician is to lead musical worship and see that others are praising Him with me. That is what music is to me. A tool God has given me to use for His glory and I am trying to use it to the best of my ability.
I was born and raised in Maryville, TN, East Tennessee to be precise. My music began with band and then moved in a new direction after my grandfather gave me his old guitar. I am currently living in Cookeville, Tennessee and am a Vocal Music Education Major at Tennessee Technological University.
God has blessed me with the opportunity to be the Worship Minister at Crossroads Community Church in Baxter, Tennessee. Being able to serve in a place where the first goal is to love God and share that love with the people around us is something beyond me but I praise Him and am thankful for the blessing.
