singer/songwriter
I am a singer/songwriter not afraid to express through lyrics, melodies and voice all the different emotions and passions that life experiences have to offer. I have a 4-octave range and write in a number of genres.
Music and my family helped me survive many years of suicidal depression.
In late 2006 I uploaded a few of my demo songs onto sellaband.com, where people liked them and funded me to record a professional album.
I flew to London and recorded my debut album with Mick Glossop (producer: Van Morrison/Frank Zappa/PIL/The Waterboys…), and a team of brilliant musicians (Tim Harries and Liam Genockey from Steeleye Span; Van Morrison’s guitarist Johnny Scott; and James Lascelles who has played on Frank Zappa’s albums).
“Fire & Snow” was recorded LIVE in Dean St Studios, Soho, London. We recorded each song in one to three takes, and then chose the best take, just like in the 60’s.
Now I am ready for everyone to hear my songs, prove that illness couldn`t take away my dreams, that being married couldn`t risk any chances of a music career and that having children only benefited me as a person and as an artist.
