Biography:

MAINTAIN was formed by Gino Garofalo (Bass/Vocals) & Jason Gutierrez (Guitar/Vocals) as a vehicle for songs they had begun writing and recording in 2001. The addition of extremely talented and seasoned pros: Rahsaan Dorsey (Keys/Vocals) & Jonathan Biggs (Drums) has created a unit which has far exceeded their musical expectations.

MAINTAIN's funky, soulful grooves combine the influences of artists such as The Isley Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Prince and Jimi Hendrix, in an original way that takes their music into a new era. Having played together for over 6 years now the band has matured and evolved into a world class recording and touring act. Exciting to see & hear, this is one of the most original bands to come out of the L.A. area in decades. In a sea of copycats and imitators this band truly is a breath of fresh air!
