Listen to Kaitee Page’s dense, string-driven arrangements and her angelic yet dynamic voice and it’s hard to believe it’s only been three years since she launched her all-out assault on pedestrian Pop Rock armed with her piano, violin and hitherto unknown songwriting chops. What’s not hard to believe is that she has been classically trained since the age of 8 and she’s quite the globetrotter, originally from Latham, New York and currently based in Albany (via London, Los Angeles, Nashville, etc.). She must have sucked the musical soul from these locales via osmosis, and now she channels them through her incisive and gorgeously arranged songs.
