Lil Omar and Swag started rapping way back in 96' they dropped their first mixtape on Homestyle Records which they started also but it wasn't successful so later they hooked up with local artist Zone & Major Monsta & Feva. They then decided to join a group by the name of Yung Felons but which also didn't go successful. So they joined a group by the name of Clap Clap Mafia. Now Clap Clap Mafia wasn't just your ordinary group. Clap Clap Mafia consisted of talent that is difficult to explain. The only way to truely understand the talent and gift of Clap Clap Mafia would be to hear what the group had to offer for yourself. If you have 5 rappers who are hungry and willing to put there all into not just music, not just a brand, but a movement, your garanteed to have magic. which escalated beef within the group. Later .. they dropped a contraversial mixtape (Clappin' At Ya) it sold over 300 copies alone. Swag didn't like what the group was turning into and what was going on behind the scenes of the Clap Clap Mafia so in 2003 Swag left the group to form his on record label called Get Right Ent. Mark aka. L.Swag went on and did his thang with his label he had a lot of accomplishments with this plus he worked with other artists around the city of Richmond and the local area. In 2005 he decided to get his own studio after recording at other studios such as Da Spot, Dedikated Studios & D&E Studios etc. Local rappers Zone & Major Monsta & Lil Omar later joined Get Right after leaving the group. After they did separate projects they went on to work on the Get Right Mixtape called (The Come Up) that project did good in the streets. 2007 Swag left Virginia to go to California for school for a year. 2008 Lil Omar started Loyal Fam. They worked on separate and group projects after that they soon did local shows with other artists after getting feedback from fans i recall one fan saying and I quote "Loyal Fam is the best group in Richmond and they are going to be successful for real ya heard me its hard to find real loyal niggas out here but they are the definition of that" thats straight from fans and close friends. Loyal Fam have many accomplishments like performing at Howard University at there 2008 homecoming, Club Q, Canal Club, Hyperlink & Toads Place etc.. The group opened up for Lil Boosie and later worked with other artists such as Mikeezie, Dedikated Boyz, Big Ty & Nikki etc. The single they have out now is called How We Like It which got major radio play on 106.5 the beat. Loyal Fam are doing big thangs right now for themselves best believe this will not fail look out for them they are hungry and ready to go worldwide lookout for them on up and coming projects and a clothing line.
